Absolutely! We are more than happy to assist you in transferring your existing website to one of our web servers. Web hosting starts at $20 a month and $20 setup for a basic WordPress site. Most small businesses and storefronts make more sense to utilize a DIY template system like WordPress.

Businesses that have outgrown WordPress or that have requirements far beyond their limited abilities vary in cost depending on needs and scope of usage. For example membership sites generally start around $40 a month and may have added one-time fees for things like eFlyers going out to the entire membership. Most clients choose to pass that along to their members with an integrated payment gateway like Stripe.

As with everything we do, we will happily lay out all your options, potential costs, and recommendations, and provide you with a written quote prior to starting any work.

If you can imagine it, we can create it graphically!

When warranted, we do utilize clipart and premade photos, but we generally prefer to create graphics from scratch. It usually gives us greater flexibility and control.

Our graphics are not limited to websites either. We can create logos, book covers, banners, and even t-shirt designs. The level of detail is only limited by your imagination and the scope of the project.

Over the years we've built many sites from scratch, but have generally moved away from that for a couple of reasons.

As a rule it is much easier, faster, and cheaper, to start with a template that meets your needs in terms of available layouts and desired pages.

From there we completely customize the design, tie in databases for functionality, and add the ability for you to make text or other desired changes through your back-end site interface.

Of course if you aren't happy with existing template choices, we can certainly create a site design from scratch.

WordPress sites utilize templates too but are not generally recommended for companies needing a more professional look and feel. It just depends on what your needs are for your business, staff, and customers.

As part of your initial consultation, we will go over your needs, wish list, and offer you the options we think will be a good fit.

Support

We are open 9 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday.

Like most businesses, we close for traditional holidays like Christmas, New Year's, Veterans Day, Labor Day, and the 4th of July.

As a rule we ask that you give us 1 - 2 business days to respond to general email inquiries. However, we often respond to emails after hours anyway.

Existing customers are also given our emergency number for any after-hours emergencies. We doubt you'll ever need it, but it's there just in case.

We have after-hours emergency support outside of our normal business hours. 99.9% of our customers never need it, but you can rest assured we can usually get you back up and running within a few hours depending on what you broke, how hard it is to trace the issue, and how involved the solution is. There's a premium charge for the service, but you have the peace of mind of knowing we're always ready to help.

That said, we don't recommend tinkering with the code unless you know what you're doing. If you're an up-and-coming web developer learning to code by hacking the source, we strongly suggest setting up a development environment for that.

Payments & Billing

We utilize a Stripe payment integration in our billing system, so most major cards are automatically accepted. Please Note: We are completely digital in terms of payment processing for monthly web hosting. We do, however, accept checks for projects that could otherwise result in significant fees to you by processing a larger amount via credit card.

We also prefer to use Stripe for customer websites due to its clean integration. If you need us to integrate a different payment gateway, we are happy to discuss your needs further.

We integrate a checkout into your website and tie it into a payment gateway like Stripe. Once payment is made through the gateway, you are notified of the order and pending payment. From there Stripe will charge the card and deposit the funds within their set guidelines. Please Note: New accounts take longer to process than established accounts to help them mitigate risk. See Stripe's website for exact rules & guidelines.
Bills are generated between the 15th and 20th of each month and are due on the 1st of the next month. Unless you have an account that is generating additional charges for eFlyers, etc. you will already know the amount due each month anyway.
